As a public historian, i’m passionate about combining historical research with visual media to craft compelling narratives.

With degrees in Applied History and Film Production Editing, I bring a unique and hands-on approach to public history. As I pursue a career in museum education, my goal is to educate, engage, and inspire.

On this page, you’ll find samples of my work from two public history-focused social media channels (the Pink Triangle Legacies Project and Academics for Peace), a three-part podcast about Italian Jewish history, and an interactive guest lecture about my MA thesis (‘90s girl zines in the UK). This work demonstrates how I use visual storytelling to make history accessible and relevant.

PINK TRIANGLE LEGACIES PROJECT — documentary

This documentary is based on my own research and an essay completed for a profile kit on the couple Felice Schragenheim and Elisabeth Wust. The College of Charleston assigned this documentary and research to one of their classes in the fall of 2024.

academics for peace SAMPLES

This is a small sample of the 100+ reels I’ve created for Academics for Peace. This initiative offers scholars a platform to explain concepts related to Palestine/Israel in a visual format, as compared to books and op-eds. All reels are available on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Bluesky, and Spotify. Since our launch in June 2024, we have garnered over 6.5 million views, 35,000 followers, and 120,000 shares.

guest lecture about ‘90s girl zines

Below is an interactive lecture I gave in September 2024 about my MA thesis. After explaining how I analyzed and interpreted a collection of ‘90s girl zines as carnivalesque, I handed it over to students to analyze in small groups.
